My favourite things about Brugge: Architecture - My favourite things about Brugge: Architecture - you’ll see tons of colourful medieval houses with step gables. I would highly recommend eating at one of the restaurants at the Burg Square while the sun sets as you’ll see the buildings light up. And if you are game for some exercise then climb up the 366 steps at the Belfry of Bruges to learn about the town’s history and enjoy rewarding views at the top! Canals - the town has many canals and you can rent a boat to cruise through them. Beer - Visit 2Be for an insane collection of beer while enjoying the amazing views of the canal. Also, highly recommend taking the brewery tour at the Half Moon brewery. Fun fact - their beer is transported to their bottling plant through underground pipelines. Cobbled streets - loved walking the cute streets of the town. You can literally walk from one end of the town to the other in a couple of hours. Belgian food - you can’t go wrong with Belgian waffles and chocolates irrespective of what shop you choose in this town. We also really enjoyed the paninis. Have you been to Brugge?
